Our current camera of choice is the SBIG (Santa Barbara Instruments Group) STL-11000M. This camera uses a Kodak KAI-11000M chip with 11 million pixels arranged in a 4008 x 2672 array (roughly like 35mm film format) of 9 micron pixels. The chip is antiblooming which is a definite advantage for our style of imaging.

The STL cameras have an internal five position filter wheel where we have mounted Astrodon I-Series filters which were specifically designed for the Kodak Interline CCDs. We also have mounted an Astrodon Hydrogen-Alpha filter that is parfocal with the color filters. {RCOS = SN 070400115 and FSQ = SN 050600469}
