| Description | ||||
| This lovely collection of nebulae in the LMC includes a probable supernova remnant towards the left with a quasi-oval filamentous appearance (N59B, aka NGC 2035), the brighter central/right zone with emission/reflection components (N59A, aka NGC 2032/2029), as well as the smaller circular area towards the top (N59C). The area in aggregate is sometimes referred to as the Seagull Nebula, not to be confused with a nebula of the same name in the northern hemisphere, IC 2177. | ||||
