| The Coal Sack Nebula (DC 282.4+000.5C) is the most prominent dark nebula in the skies and a southern sky landmark. When visiting CTIO it is easily seen with the nacked eye in Centaurus, and is very dramatic with a set of image stabilized binoculars. This LRGB image also shows a faint reddish minor planetary nebula, He 2-84/PNG 300.4-00.9 in the upper left quadrant of the image. | ||||
