Description

NGC884 is the second half of the famous double cluster in the constellation Pegasus.  This cluster also lies about 7000 light years away (and about 100 light years from NGC869) and is about 3.2 million years old.  Both 869 and NGC884 are part of the Perseus OB1 association.
