Description

IC239 is a small and fairly dim galaxy that is located about 35 million light years away in the constellation Andromeda.  This galaxy is likely part of the NGC1023 group of galaxies.

Again, a bit of Ha data might aid in bringing out some of the knots in the spiral arms.
