Description

This is a mosaic of data orginally acquired at New Mexico Skies in 2008, and finished more recently with data from an observatory in suburban Pennsylvania, outside of Philadelphia.

This is a bicolor rendition, using Ha and OIII data --  the green channel is synthesized from the other two in Photoshop.

The gamma cygni region is replete with a variety of nebulae, including the more famous Butterfly Nebula and Crescent Nebula
